The intensity of India-Pakistan matches cannot be matched and due to the ongoing political tensions between the two subcontinent giants, the fans from both sides of the borders miss out on high voltage cricketing action.

International cricket finally returned to Pakistan after a long gap of six years as Zimbabwe toured the country after long negotiations. The dreaded Lahore attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in March 2009 shocked the cricket world and led to no teams touring the country for the next six years. Pakistan won the Twenty20 (T20) against Zimbabwe 2-0 and also tasted victory in the first One-Day International (ODI). Shoaib Malik scored an unbeaten 112 from 76-balls in his comeback match and guided Pakistan to a massive 375. Zimbabwean skipper Elton Chigambura scored 117 from 95-balls as they fell short by 41-runs.
