Bangladesh wicketkeeper Litton Das is the one and only Hindu cricketer in the Karachi Kings team. He was all set to mark his debut in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), however, fate had other plans.

Even though Litton was well on his way to play for Karachi Kings, he suddenly had to pull out of the PSL 2025 as he injured his thumb in a practice session before their opening match.

Litton Das called it his ‘bad luck’ to not be able to play in the PSL 2025. “Unfortunately, I couldn’t be part of this tournament, even though I was really looking forward to it,” Litton said in a statement on Karachi Kings’ website.
Life can be unpredictable – just my bad luck,” the statement added.

Australian batter Ben McDermott is going to replace Litton Das in the team. Ben has also never played in PSL just like Litton. However, he was a part of Hobart Hurricanes who won their maiden Big Bash League title earlier this year.
