Sunrisers stormed to hat-track of wins with a comfortable five-wicket over Delhi Capitals.

Having struggled initially to find his timing, Axar Patel cracked a couple of lusty blows in the last over – two sixes. He finished unbeaten on 23 off 13 and pushed Delhi to 129 for 8. (BCCI Image)

Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer was the only batsman to show some fortitude. He almost played through the innings and scored 43 off 41 with three fours and a six, and with wicket falling at the other end, held key for Delhi. But Rashid foxed him with a wrong one as Iyer missed a sweep. Delhi were reduced to 93 for 6 and in all sorts of trouble. (BCCI Image)

Following his figures of 4 for 11 in the previous game against RCB, allrounder Mohammad Nabi was able to tie the Delhi batsmen down with his off-spin. He finished with 2 for 21 and his wickets included that of Shikhar Dhawan and the dangerous Rishabh Pant. (BCCI Image)

Manish Pandey nearly ran Colin Ingram out in the first ball of the 14th over after missing his aim by a whisker. However, he wouldn’t let Ingram get away the second time around. Four balls later, as the batsman fiercely cut Siddharth Kaul, Pandey moved to his left and held on to a stunning catch at point. (BCCI Image)

Prithvi Shaw set the ball rolling for Delhi Capitals with a couple of boundaries in the first over. But Bhuvneshwar Kumar hit back in the next, cleaning up Shaw in the next over after the opener swung across the line. (BCCI Image)

Chasing 130 to win, Jonny Bairstow set the tempo with an early assault. Continuing his belligerent form in the tournament, Bairstow struck 48 off 28 balls with nine boundaries and one six. Twice he hit three boundaries in an over to throw Delhi attack off-guard. (BCCI Image)

Defending a modest total, the two wickets got Delhi back into the game. Ishant Sharma struck in his first over to break a stand of 27 runs between Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar by dismissing the former for 10. (BCCI Image)

When Sandeep Lamichhane dismissed Deepak Chahar, Sunrisers were 111 for 5, helping Delhi sense an opening. (BCCI Image)

Yusuf Pathan and Mohammad Nabi struck some crucial blows towards the end. Nabi, who had taken 2 for 21 earlier, had a great match, as he hit the winning runs – a four and a six to get Sunrisers over the line. (BCCI Image)

David Warner, for a change, played an odd knock. With Bairstow doing the bulk of the scoring, Warner managed just 10 off 18 before perishing to Rabada. After putting 64 for the opening wicket, Sunrisers lost both Bairstow and Warner in quick time. (BCCI Image)
