England all-rounder believes Shubman Gill’s aggression challenged team’s Ego and made them played like a Beast
Following India's loss at the Lord's Test, England allrounder Moeen Ali believes that the visiting captain Shubman Gill reflected an image of Virat Kohli with his aggression, mindset and playstyle.

During the third Test match of the five-match series between India against England, we witnessed a glimpse of Virat Kohli’s behavior in Shubman Gill. The aggression of Gill in the match was fulfilling Kohli’s absence, which might have hurt the ego of the English side.
Shubman Gill was seen reflecting an image of Virat Kohli- as he showed levels of aggression, strong mindset and a classical display of his batting at Edgbaston, which projected the Kohli’s great innings. This playstyle had evolved into century at the same venue in 2018 by the former captain.
During a recent interview on Wednesday, England’s batting allrounder Moeen Ali said, “My take is, it’s fine. I think he’s just trying to be competitive in front of a fight and very similar to Virat, I think it’s fine. But then, obviously the other team, what you’ve done is, I think you’ve actually brought out the best of England and the fight and that beast England can be,” he continued.

Current Indian test captain Shubman Gill played an impactful innings in the series, breaking records and achieving great milestones after scoring a century at Headingley and knocking double century in the second test in Birmingham which helped team to win that match by 336 runs. However, during the Lord’s test he failed to score and got dismissed at the score of 16 and 6 runs.
