Sri Lankan great Kumar Sangakkara slammed England batter harry Brook for playing rash shot and getting dismissed on Day 4 of Lord's Test.

Sri Lanka’s cricketing legend Kumar Sangakkara lashed out at England batter Harry Brook for is dismissal on Day 4 of the 3rd Test match at Lord’s. Brook was in great form, and was playing his natural game even though the team was down three players. However, he was bowled out by Akash Deep with 15 minutes left for lunch break.

Harry Brook was trying to play a rash shot and went for a sweep against pacer Akash Deep. Akash, however, had sent the delivery towards his leg side and the ball just made its way past his legs- hitting the stumps. Kumar Sangakkara was not happy with this move and while being on the commentary panel he said- “It is just arrogance, not even Bazball“.

Speaking about the match, Mohammed Siraj struck twice- with Akash Deep and Nitish Reddy picking one each- as England were 4 players down for just 98 runs by lunch time on Day 4 of Lord’s Test.
