Tamim Iqbal celebrates his second hundred in a row; guides Bangladesh to their maiden ODI series triumph over Pakistan

Tamim Iqbal’s consecutive century shepherded Bangladesh to their first ever One Day International (ODI) series over Pakistan. His second hundred came in the second ODI which they won convincingly by seven wickets in Dhaka on Sunday.

Photographer Munir Uz Zaman captured a moment of Tamim celebrating his sixth ODI hundred. Batting first Pakistan set a target of 240 for the hosts to chase, Iqbal continued his good form and once again formed a formidable partnership with wicketkeeper Muhfiqur Rahim to steer his team to a convincing victory with almost 12 overs to spare.

Bangladesh sculpted their name in the history and Tamim’s knock will be considered amongst his very best. The 26 year-old was adjured the player of the match for his unbeaten 116 from as many balls.
