As the World Championship of Legends began July 18, a controversial cricket match between India and Pakistan is set to be held tomorrow (Sunday- July 20th) at the Birmingham ground in England. The tournament- that featured retired international cricketers- is going to mark the first clash between the two nations since ‘Operation Sindoor’. However, this fixture has sparked a lot of outrage across Indian fans.

It’s very normal that people are getting angry, as for the inhumane killing of innocent civilians in Pahalgam, which has openly given rise to numerous tensions between the two nations. In a response to this mishap, the Indian government launched ‘Operation Sindoor’- which was initiated to target number of terrorist base camps across Pakistan.

Amid the versatile geographic landscape, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is setting up the official schedule for the Asia Cup 2025- a T20 format tournament that is still featuring India and Pakistan.
