Virat Kohli informed BCCI on his plans about retirement from Test cricket- Awaiting decision from selectors

A few days after Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket, Virat Kohli has now also informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) know that he has plans to do the same.

Virat Kohli has made up his mind about leaving the red-ball format. Earlier this week, he let the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) know that he is done from Test cricket.

As per a report, the BCCI has asked Virat Kohli to rethink about his decision but Kohli has not given any response to the cricket board. He had been thinking about this call since the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.

The selection committee, led by Ajit Agarkar, is going to meet in a couple days in order to decide the squad for the upcoming series against England, and Virat Kohli being unavailable for selection is going to be a huge shock for them.
