A game of cricket is always full of action and ever evolving. With changing times, the level of fielding too has gone up and the players leave no stone unturned while on the field.
One such magnificent moment was captured by photographer Stu Forster for Getty Images, where Michael Carberry almost tripped on his teammate Joe Gatting while taking the catch of Glamorgan’s Aneurin Donald during a match between Hampshire and Glamorgan at Cardiffon Sunday.
This was a terrific catch which brought back memories of Indian live wire Mohammad Kaif, when he took a catch to dismiss Shoaib Malik in Karachi 2004. Forster’s captured moment reminds of a wresting finishing move called ‘Big Splash’.
