Australia

Batting R B 4s 6s SR
Usman Khawajac Vijay Shankar b Kuldeep Yadav 50 76 5 1 65.79
23.5
K Yadav to U Khawaja, OUT! In the air... taken! Khawaja will have to wait for his maiden ODI ton. Another set batsman is back in the hut. Khawaja uses his feet and swings across the line. He connects well but not well enough to clear the boundary line at deep mid-wicket. Shankar there runs to his right and holds onto the catch with a slide. A very fine catch as Shankar had to cover good ground to his right. The bowling change has worked for the hosts and Australia are in a spot of bother here.
Aaron Finch (C)c MS Dhoni b Jasprit Bumrah 0 3 0 0 0
1.3
J Bumrah to A Finch, OUT! Edged and taken! Bumrah strikes in his third ball itself and Australia have lost their first wicket very early and that too of their skipper. He can't buy a run at the moment, his last five innings' scores are - 11, 6, 6, 14 and now a duck here. Top but this. It is once again bowled on a length and angled into the off pole. The batter has to play at it but it pitches and then straightens. Finch tries to defend but the ball takes an outside edge to Dhoni who takes a simple catch. The crowd here are going bonkers.
Marcus Stoinisc Virat Kohli b Kedar Jadhav 37 53 6 0 69.81
20.1
K Jadhav to M Stoinis, OUT! Number 87 strikes! The devil's number for a reason for Australia. The golden arm of Kedar Jadhav strikes again. Shorter off spinner on off and middle, bowled with a higher-arm action, Stoinis gets on his back foot to pull it flat and straight to the Indian skipper at short mid-wicket. He could have hit it anywhere but finds the fielder. It's travelling with the speed of light but Virat Kohli reacts quickly and takes a sharp catch. A much-needed wicket for India and Stoinis walks back disappointed.
Peter Handscombst MS Dhoni b Kuldeep Yadav 19 30 1 0 63.33
29.6
K Yadav to P Handscomb, OUT! Stumped! Beaten in the air there! That is Kuldeep Yadav's guile and even a good player of spin like Handscomb has been done in. Yadav flights this one beautifully outside off and tempts the batsman to leave his crease. Peter is though nowhere close to the ball and the spin on the ball is too much. It goes through the gap between bat and pad towards Dhoni who collects and flicks off the bails in a flash. PH was at sea and had no chance of getting back. The budding partnership of 36 has been broken and it is a really good time for India to get this wicket, especially with a debutant deemed to bat next.
Glenn Maxwellb Mohammed Shami 40 51 5 0 78.43
39.5
M Shami to G Maxwell, OUT! The Big Show is out of here and Australia are now in big, big trouble! Shami gets his second and once again it is on the 5th ball of the over. He lands this one on a length around off, it pitches and comes back in a shade. Maxwell looks to drive it on the up but leaves a gap between bat and pad. It sneaks through and rattles the off pole. The crowd here erupts as they also know it is a massive breakthrough for the home team. 250 now looks farfetched as India are into the bowling all-rounders.
Ashton Turnerb Mohammed Shami 21 23 1 1 91.3
37.5
M Shami to A Turner, OUT! TIMBER! The debutant falls after getting a start. It seemed like Shami bowled a slower one but the speed gun shows 135 kph. It is on the shorter side. Not very short though. Turner goes for the pull but the ball does not bounce as much as he expected it to. It goes off the inside edge and onto the stumps. Another partnership which was looking good is cut short. Frustrating this for the Aussies but good for the Indians. They now have half of Australia's side back in the hut.
Alex Carey (W)not out 36 37 5 0 97.3
Nathan Coulter-Nilec Virat Kohli b Jasprit Bumrah 28 27 3 0 103.7
49.5
J Bumrah to N Coulter-Nile, OUT! Nathan Coulter-Nile holes out! Bumrah bangs it short and on the body, Nathan looks to pull but it hits the higher portion of the bat and goes straight down the throat of Kohli at long on. The good thing though is the batsmen have crossed and Carey will be on strike.

Rohit Sharmac Aaron Finch b Nathan Coulter-Nile 37 66 5 0 56.06
20.5
N Coulter-Nile to R Sharma, OUT! Massive moment in the game. If the Kohli wicket did not put a few jitters in the Indian camp, this one certainly will. Four dot balls before this and it looked like Rohit was itching to get this one away. A length ball on middle, he looks to turn it away on the leg side. He closes the bat face a little too early and the ball takes the leading edge before going straight up in the air, only as far as Finch at mid off. The Aussies have struck twice in quick time and are super pumped up. This game is not yet over!
Shikhar Dhawanc Glenn Maxwell b Nathan Coulter-Nile 0 1 0 0 0
1.1
N Coulter-Nile to S Dhawan, OUT! Dhawan bags a first baller! Australia needed early wickets defending a below par total, they have got one here. Nothing too great about the delivery, it is full and outside off. Dhawan goes after it straightaway. He drives it square on the off side but does not keep it down. Maxwell at point takes an easy one.
Virat Kohli (C)lbw b Adam Zampa 44 45 6 1 97.78
16.6
A Zampa to V Kohli, OUT! It is pad first and also, three reds on the Ball Tracker! This is a big moment in the game and a much-needed wicket as this partnership was starting to take the game away from the visitors. Zampa, after going for 2 fours earlier in this over, has the last laugh and looks mighty pleased. The slider does the trick for him. He lands it just around off and the ball skids through. Kohli looks to defend but it seems that the ball has hit his front pad first and then the bat. A huge appeal from the bowler follows but the umpire is unmoved. Finch signals for the 'T' after consulting his bowler and the replays show that the on-field call has to be overturned. A 10-run over but Australia now have got an opening here, can they get a couple more quickly? 157 more needed here in 198 balls. 8 wickets in hand.
Ambati Rayuduc Alex Carey b Adam Zampa 13 19 2 0 68.42
23.3
A Zampa to A Rayudu, OUT! India lose another and it looks like someone has turned the volume down at the stadium. A flatter ball outside off and turning a bit away. Rayudu prods forward to defend but gets a thin edge and Carey behind the wickets makes no mistake. Three quick wickets and India have slipped from 80/1 to 99/4. 138 runs needed in 159 balls now.
