David Warnerc JP Duminy b Imran Tahir 117 107 13 2 109.35
34.5
I Tahir to D Warner, OUT! One too many, David Warner! Fullish on middle and off, Warner gets down on his knee and goes for another slog sweep. This time he mistimes it as the ball goes high up in the air. Duminy keeps his eye on the ball, gets under it near wide long on and takes a safe catch. David Warner's sensational knock comes to an end then. Nevertheless, holds the record for the highest score by an Australian in ODIs at this venue. Tahir gets his second scalp and he starts celebrating again.
Aaron Finchc Kagiso Rabada b Imran Tahir 53 34 3 4 155.88
13.1
I Tahir to A Finch, OUT! Finch holes out! A tossed up ball outside off, spinning away a shade, Finch tries to power it down the ground but it curves away to catch the top edge. The ball balloons in the air, Rabada comes ahead from long off and grabs the skier to perfection. Tahir sets off in celebration and is all pumped up. End of a good knock by Aaron but he will be disappointed with his shot selection. There was a century for the taking.
Steven Smith (C)b Dale Steyn 108 107 9 1 100.93
46.2
D Steyn to S Smith, OUT! Bowled 'em! This can cost Australia at least 20-30 runs! Steyn delivers a well-disguised slower delivery in the line of the stumps, Smith hops back, makes room to force it through the line but fails to make any connection. It goes through to rattle the stumps and Steyn roars in joy. End of a well compiled knock by the Aussie skipper. Can Australia end on a high from here on?
George Baileyc Faf du Plessis b Andile Phehlukwayo 28 18 1 1 155.56
40.5
A Phehlukwayo to G Bailey, OUT! Terrific catch by Faf du Plessis! Phehlukwayo serves a slower length ball around off, 117.9 kph, Bailey goes back inside the crease and slaps it through the line. But he fails to keep it down and du Plessis at covers dives full length to his left to take a cracking catch. A good looking innings cut short!
Mitchell Marshc David Miller b Dale Steyn 2 8 0 0 25
44.2
D Steyn to M Marsh, OUT! Excellent catch by Miller! He serves a back of a length ball on middle, 148 kph, Marsh stays back to pull it across the line over mid-wicket but fails to middle it. It flies towards the fielder inside the circle and Miller dives to his left to complete a superb catch.
Travis Headc & b Kagiso Rabada 35 18 4 1 194.44
49.6
K Rabada to T Head, OUT! Rabada lets out a full toss on middle and Head tries to heave it across the line. But it catches the top edge and balloons in the air on the off side. Rabada runs towards the cover region and Faf du Plessis also moves forward to attempt for the catch inside the ring. No calling whatsoever and eventually it's the bowler who completes the catch and avoids the big collision. Du Plessis has a smile on his face. Could have been a nasty collision. Anyway, AUSTRALIA END ON 371/6, the highest total at this venue!

Quinton de Kock (W)c Daniel Worrall b Chris Tremain 70 49 6 2 142.86
20.5
C Tremain to de Kock, OUT! WHAT A CATCH! Short of a length ball on middle and leg, de Kock tries to pull but gets a big top edge. The ball flies high up in the air and Daniel Worrall keeps his eye on the ball throughout, gets under the ball near fine leg and takes a terrific catch. That's a big wicket for Australia as the in-form de Kock is out.
Hashim Amlalbw b John Hastings 45 30 9 0 150
8.3
J Hastings to H Amla, OUT! Amla is adjudged lbw! Hastings angles in a full length ball around off, Amla shuffles across the stumps and tries to heave it over the leg side. But he fails to make any connection and is hit on the pads. They appeal and the umpire raises his finger after thinking for a while. Amla has a little chat with his partner but de Kock feels he is out and hence asks not to take the DRS. Hashim departs after playing a scintillating knock. The replays show that the impact was with the umpire's call. So, it indeed was a good call to not waste a review. 306 needed off 249 balls.
Faf du Plessis (C)c David Warner b Travis Head 33 32 4 0 103.13
17.2
T Head to du Plessis, OUT! DU PLESSIS HOLES OUT! Head drags it short on middle and off, du Plessis goes onto his back foot quickly and pulls it away to the leg side. The ball goes high up in the air and for a moment it looks like it's going over the fence but it goes straight into the hands of David Warner at deep mid-wicket. Travis Head gets the wicket of the South African captain! A very good partnership comes to an end. South Africa lose their second wicket, need 232 runs from 196 balls.
Rilee Rossouwlbw b Adam Zampa 18 21 1 0 85.71
23.4
A Zampa to R Rossouw, OUT! LBW! Zampa strikes! Fullish on middle and off, Rossouw goes for the reverse sweep but misses and gets hit on the pads. There is an appeal for a leg before and the umpire raises his dreaded finger. That's a poor shot to play for that line. South Africa are losing wickets here. Replays show the ball would have hit the stumps, dead plumb!
JP Duminyc Aaron Finch b John Hastings 20 26 0 0 76.92
31.1
J Hastings to JP Duminy, OUT! Wicket straight after the break! The bowling change has worked. Hastings comes in from around the wicket and angles in a full ball on middle and leg, Duminy picks it off his pads and flicks it in the air over mid-wicket. Finch stations himself near the fence, holds his balance and grabs the skier to perfection. Big blow to South Africa! 155 needed off 113 balls.
David Millernot out 118 79 10 6 149.37
Dwaine Pretoriusc David Warner b Mitchell Marsh 15 20 0 1 75
37.4
M Marsh to D Pretorius, OUT! Pressure was mounting and Pretorius has succumbed to it. Marsh gets the breakthrough! End of a dangerous looking partnership. Marsh delivers a full length ball around off, Pretorius tries to work it on the leg side but closes the face of the bat early. As a result, it pops out off the leading edge and Warner runs back from short cover to take a simple catch. 107 needed off 74 balls.
