Leach bustles from around the pegs, tosses it up, and lands it on the middle stump line. Abdullah Shafique draws his front foot out with a huge stride to defend it. But the ball lands, grips sharply, and turns prodigiously off the deck, leaving the batter. Shafique plays inside the line of the ball as it zips past the outside edge to clatter into the off stump. Abdullah Shafique departs on 7 (28) and Pakistan are 15/1 in 7.3 overs.

Matthew Potts to Saim Ayub, OUT! CAUGHT! The plan to keep short mid off has worked finally for England. And a key wicket for the tourists, right before the Tea break. The 149-run stand is broken and Potts gets his first wicket. Matthew Potts charges in from over the stumps to the left-hander and lands it full, slightly nipping away off the pitch. Saim Ayub presses forward with a half stride to drive it on the up through the off side, but with no proper weight transfer on the front foot, he ends up hitting it flat and straight towards Ben Stokes at short mid off. Stokes bends low and takes a sharp low catch to his right. Saim Ayub departs on a well-made 77 (160) and Pakistan are 168/3.

Jack Leach to Shan Masood, OUT! TAKEN! The short mid-wicket fielder was tactically stationed there and Zak Crawley takes a stunning catch to dismiss the Pakistani skipper. Leach has his second wicket. Jack Leach stays over the stumps, drops it flat and fuller, just around off, Shan Masood strides ahead and tries to work it with the spin to the leg side. He just goes too firmly with the angle and tries to flick it away but ends up hitting it flat, and just above the ground towards short mid-wicket. Zak Crawley stationed there dives to his right and takes a sharp low catch. Replays confirm that Crawley managed to keep his fingers underneath the ball.

Shoaib Bashir to Kamran Ghulam, OUT! BOWLED! Shoaib Bashir breaks through for England! End of a fine knock by the debutant, Kamran Ghulam! Bashir drifts it in, on a nagging length, on middle and leg, Kamran skips down the track and shapes up to go back over the bowler's head with a straight bat. The ball does not turn and just goes on straight. He plays down the wrong line and gets beaten on the outside edge. The ball clips the leg stump and it is enough to dislodge the right bail. Bashir roars in delight. Ghulam is crossed with himself. He departs for 118 (224) with 5.4 overs left in the day. 

Brydon Carse to Saud Shakeel, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Excellent catch that by Jamie Smith! Brydon Carse stays around the wickets, but changes the line of attack. This time, he lands it on the back of a length and gets a bit of extra bounce on it around the off stump. It nips and zips away from the pitch but the batter plays for the ball angling into him. Shakeel hangs his bat away from the body with no footwork and hence a healthy outside edge is found. The ball flies off the edge and Jamie Smith takes a very sharp grab behind the stumps. Saud Shakeel departs on 4 (14) and most probably, the blow he took on the body a few deliveries back, unsettled him. Pakistan are 178/4.

Brydon Carse to Mohammad Rizwan, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Brydon Carse gets his second and Pakistan lose one early in the day! Far from ideal for them but England will now look to rip through. Brydon Carse angles this one into the right-hander, on a length, and gets the ball to straighten off the deck. Mohammad Rizwan is squared up deep in the crease and a bit off an extra bounce flies to him and takes an outside edge that goes back to the right of the keeper. Jamie Smith does exceptionally well behind the stumps to dive to that side and snaffle the catch. 

Matthew Potts to Salman Agha, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Matthew Potts gets his man! Potts comes from 'over the wicket and bowls it a tad fuller, outside off. The pitch provides a bit extra bounce as well and nips out the delivery a shy bit. Salman Agha camps back and looks to guide it through that gap behind square on the off again but gets nicked on the outer edge with that extra bounce. Jamie Smith behind the stumps shuffles to his right to glove that one. Pakistan lose their seventh wicket!  

Brydon Carse to Aamer Jamal, OUT! BOWLED'EM! Right after Lunch! An absolute jaffa from Brydon Carse! The partnership stays at 49 and England gets the breakthrough here. Carse steams in from 'over the wicket and lands this on a good length, on off, this one jags back in sharply. Aamer Jamal stays in his crease to block it, but his feet go nowhere and his head falls as well. The ball goes through the big gap between the bat and pad to shatter the stumps. Jamal departs after a well-made 37 off 69!

Jack Leach to Sajid Khan, OUT! TAKEN! Jack Leach has three now! He tosses it up, full and on off, this one holds in the surface and turns away a bit, Sajid Khan takes a big stride forward to drive it away but fails to keep it down, the ball goes aerially towards short covers where Joe Root takes a sharp catch to his left. Credit to Ben Stokes for putting the fielder in that position, it worked like a treat. Pakistan eight down now!

Jack Leach to Noman Ali, OUT! TAKEN! Jack Leach wraps things up with his fourth wicket! A good bowling change from Ben Stokes yet again. This is flighted, full and on middle, Noman Ali goes down on one knee to slog sweep again but gets more height on that one than distance. The ball flies in the air towards deep mid-wicket where Brydon Carse settles under it to take a nice catch. A handy knock of 32 off 61 from Ali finally comes to an end! Pakistan have been bowled out for 366!

Noman Ali to Zak Crawley, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Excellent usage of review! Noman Ali bowls it touch fuller and turns it away from the batter. Zak Crawley strides out and looks to drill it away towards his off side, but misses on the outer edge. Noman Ali appeals loudly and looks confident along with the keeper and slip. Pakistan goes for the review. The UltraEdge pops up and shows that there is a clear spike as the delivery passes the outer edge. The umpire changes his onfield decision and raises his finger up. A crucial breakthrough for Pakistan!

Sajid Khan to Ben Duckett, OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! The clinical inning from Ben Duckett has come to an end and Sajid Khan is the man who hunts him down! Sajid bowls it short of a length outside off. Ben Duckett once again with the aggressive mindset looks to cut it hard but gets nicked on the outer edge. The ball zips straight towards the slip and Salman Agha doesn't have to move much and snaffles it with ease. England lose their fourth wicket!

Sajid Khan to Ollie Pope, OUT! BOWLED'EM! Sajid Khan gets his first one and helps Pakistan with an important breakthrough! Sajid Khan comes from 'over the wicket and bowls it fuller, pitching it just outside off, around the sixth stump and gets the ball to spin back in sharply. Ollie Pope prods and looks to offer a push towards cover but misses on the inner edge. The ball finds the gap between the bat and pad and rattles the off stump. Sajid Khan is absolutely pumped and why not!

Sajid Khan to Joe Root, OUT! DRAGGED ON! This is the second from Sajid Khan and he is loving it! Why shouldn't he? He gets the big fish here. Sajid bowls it fuller and quicker, just outside off. Joe Root gets low on his knee to sweep it across the line towards his leg side but only gets the connection on the inner edge. The ball gets nicked, deflects from Root's boots, and rattles into the base of the off pole. Sajid Khan sprints and leaps to punch the air out of joy. Root stands there in disbelief as he knows that shot was not on this ball. He goes back for 34 off 54, and England lose their third!

Sajid Khan to Harry Brook, OUT! BOWLED'EM! Sajid Khan is unstoppable right now! Whatever this man is touching, it's turning into gold! Sajid bowls on the same length he bowls against Root and gets the profit! He bowls it fuller and outside off, on the sixth stump and turns it in. Harry Brook goes deep into the crease to punch it away but the ball spins in hard and fast. He misses the punch on the inner edge and the ball thumps the stump. Sajid Khan gets his fourth one and Pakistan have cleaned half of the Engishmen! 

Noman Ali to Ben Stokes, OUT! BAT, PAD, AND GONE! Noman Ali strikes now! England are falling like nine pins here and the skipper fails to make much impact. This is tossed up, full and on middle, drifts and turns in sharply, Ben Stokes looks to play at it with a straight bat but only manages to get an inside edge onto his pads. The ball pops up in the air and Abdullah Shafique at short leg dives forward to take a fantastic catch. England six down in no time!

Noman Ali to Jamie Smith, OUT! TAKEN! England 9 down! A risky shot with the ball turning so much! This is full and outside off, spins away. Smith comes down the track to heave but mistimes his shot completely. It goes high up and to extra cover. Saim Ayub runs in from deep and takes it comfortably. 

Sajid Khan to Brydon Carse, OUT! GONE! Sajid Khan with a five-wicket haul! An excellent display of spin bowling! Tossed up full and around off, spins in and Carse tries to take him on. Charges down and swings but plays off the inner half to long on where Saud Shakeel makes no mistake. 

Sajid Khan to Matthew Potts, OUT! BOWLED! Ohh, what a delivery! Through his legs and Sajid Khan definitely enjoyed that one! Potts played all over it. Tossed up, this lands on the fuller side and around off, spins in sharply. Potts opens his stance to flick but misses and it goes through his legs and hits the stumps. 

Sajid Khan to Shoaib Bashir, OUT! TAKEN! Sajid Khan takes the final wicket. Tossed up, outside off, spins in sharply. Bashir shapes for the sweep but toe ends his shot to short mid-wicket where Shan Masood takes a simple catch. Bashir watches his bat but that's the end of England. They are bowled out for 291.

Shoaib Bashir to Abdullah Shafique, OUT! TAKEN! A huge appeal for caught behind down the leg side but turned down. Ben Stokes asks his fellow players and takes it upstairs. The slow motion shows it is off the thigh pad. Full and around off, lands and spins down leg sharply. Shafique goes on his back foot to flick but seems to miss. UltraEdge loading up...A little bit of murmur as the ball shaves past the inside edge. The third umpire says he can see a spike as it rolls past the inside edge and requests the on-field umpire to change his decision. Shafique has to go. Excellent grab from Jamie Smith down the leg side as it spun in sharply. England have the breakthrough. 

Shoaib Bashir to Saim Ayub, OUT! LAST BALL BEFORE LUNCH! Saim Ayub falls! Very full and drifting in on middle, spins away enough to grab the outside edge of Ayub who prods to defend, gets an outside edge to gully where Ollie Pope takes it low in front of him.

Shoaib Bashir to Shan Masood, OUT! EDGED AND GONE! England get Pakistan's captain. Excellent from Bashir as he draws Masood forward to this in-angler, on a length and Masood tries to flick but closes his bat face too soon to get a thick leading edge to forward silly point if you may call and Ollie Pope takes a safe catch. 

Jack Leach to Kamran Ghulam, A LOUD APPEAL AND UP GOES THE FINGER! Ghulam reviews. That seems out and it is! THREE REDS! Ghulam has to walk back. That's the wicket England wanted. Leach delivers. On middle. This goes on with the arm. Ghulam looks to defend but misses and is hit on the pad. He looked positive and did get off to a start but now falls. Pakistan are effectively 152 for 4.

Jack Leach to Saud Shakeel, OUT! LBW! A huge appeal for LBW but turned down. England fancy it and take it upstairs. Leach angles in a full ball on middle and straightens off the surface. Shakeel gets on his knee to sweep but misses. Looked very close to the naked eye. UltraEdge shows no bat. Ball Tracking shows THREE REDS. Shakeel goes. Pakistan 6 down.

Brydon Carse to Mohammad Rizwan, OUT! Edged and taken! Rizwan gets out to Carse again. A lovely nut. This lands on off and moves away. Rizwan looks to defend but this goes off the outside edge and it is taken at first slip. Good sharp catch. Much needed wicket for England. These two were looking dangerous. 

Brydon Carse to Salman Agha, OUT! TAKEN! Salman falls. Carse gets him this time! He was dropped earlier of his bowling and he has added some runs which could prove to be very vital after that. This is short and on the body. Salman looks to pull, it goes off the splice towards mid-wicket and it is taken. 

Jack Leach to Aamer Jamal, OUT! BOWLED! Comes with the arm, a lot quicker from Leach and Jamal is beaten for pace, this is pushed through on off, Jamal goes on the back foot to flick but misses and it crashes the stumps. Superb delivery from Leach to get Jamal who can be a tricky customer. 

Shoaib Bashir to Noman Ali, OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Back into the attack, back with the attacks. Flights it full and angling in, it lands on off and spins away. Ali prods across to defend but gets an outside edge to first slip where the skipper makes no mistake. Pakistan lead by 231.

Matthew Potts to Sajid Khan, OUT! TAKEN! That's the end of the innings! Short and on the body. Khan is cramped for room. He looks to nudge it on the leg side but it goes off the glove and it is taken by the keeper. 

Noman Ali to Zak Crawley, OUT! STUMPED! Pakistan have another one! What a delivery! Very nicely bowled! Flights it full and around off, spins away enough as it brings Crawley forward to drive but he misses and it goes past his edge and the keeper clips the bails off in flash. 

Sajid Khan to Ben Duckett, OUT! GONE! Pakistan have a big wicket! They have the centurion for a duck. Crucial, crucial wicket in the chase. Khan pushes it wide of off and Duckett goes for the sweep, he chases and only gets a top edge on the leg side. Mohammad Rizwan runs across to his right and takes it.

Sajid Khan to Ollie Pope, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Pope shakes his head as he walks back. He is disappointed. Not the way he thought he would get out. Floated full and on off, Pope steps forward and tries to work on the leg side, closes the bat face and it goes off the leading edge back to Khan who gets low and takes a simple catch. Early breakthrough for Pakistan. 

Noman Ali to Joe Root, OUT! LBW! That one straightens enough and is given out! Looks plumb but Root takes it upstairs. Flighted, a bit fuller and quicker around off, angling in. Root looks to sweep but misses as it holds its line. Root misses and gets hit on the pads. An appeal and up goes the finger. UltraEdge shows no bat. Ball Tracking shows the impact is umpire's call but it goes onto hit the stumps. Out it remains. Big wicket on a turning pitch.

Noman Ali to Harry Brook, OUT! LBW! Brook takes it upstairs, he feels that is going down leg. Missed a straight line here. Angles in a flatter trajectory delivery on leg, Brook opens his front leg to heave but misses and gets hit on the pads. A huge appeal and up goes the finger. UltraEdge shows no bat. Ball Tracking shows THREE REDS. Took the review more in hope. 

Noman Ali to Ben Stokes, OUT! STUMPED! Stokes falls. He steps out. Ali slows it up and also drags his length back a little. Stokes swings but this spins back in. He misses and the keeper does the rest. Fifer for Ali. Brilliant from him. Pakistan now just the three wickets away. 

Noman Ali to Jamie Smith, OUT! GONE! As easy as you get! Ali gets another one! Floated full and around off, slower in the air and Smith goes for the slog-sweep but it turns in and takes the top edge. High in the sky but only as far as mid-wicket. Shan Masood takes a dolly. 

Noman Ali to Brydon Carse, OUT! TAKEN! Not sure why that was reviewed. This is tossed up around off. Carse steps out and looks to go big. This lands and turns away. It goes off the outside edge to first slip. Salman takes it. Carse reviews. Not sure why but Ultra Edge shows a big spike.
