Skipper, Mashrafe Mortaza standing there makes no mistake and takes an easy catch. A top class knock from Roy comes to an end. Mehedi is delighted but he taps Roy on his back and that is a class gesture from the young Bangladeshi spinner. Good to see that.

M Mortaza to J Bairstow, OUT! Finally Bangladesh have broken this opening stand. The skipper has done the trick here. Mortaza comes around the wicket and bowls it on middle and leg, Bairstow looks to flick but gets a leading edge. The ball flies towards cover and Mehedi Hasan there dives to his left and takes a good catch. The fielding from Bangladesh so far has been poor but maybe this will inspire them. Bairstow does not wait long after getting to his half-ton and he will be disappointed not to convert this into a big one.

M Saifuddin to Joe Root, OUT! Chopped on! Slower delivery has done the trick here. It is outside off, Root looks to flat-bat it over mid off but he gets a big inside edge and it goes on to hit the leg pole. Big, big wicket here for Bangladesh as Root is a very dangerous man and he is in excellent form. Some respite for Saifuddin as he has been expensive so far today but he has a wicket to his name now.

M Saifuddin to Jos Buttler, OUT! Buttler holes out! Even if you get Buttler at this stage, it will save you some runs. It is not the best of deliveries. Full on the pads, Buttler flicks it uppishly to the right of deep square leg. Soumya Sarkar runs on that side and takes a good catch. End of a very good innings from Buttler. He was having some injury issue maybe that played a part too but nonetheless it was a good move to send him up the order.

M Hasan to E Morgan, OUT! This time it is taken! Not by Tamim but by Sarkar. Good catch! Morgan once again looks to go big but does not time it again. It goes up in the air towards long on. For a second it seemed it would fall short but Sarkar runs in and takes a good diving catch. Both the set batsman back in the hut. Bangladesh can now look to stop England under 370.

M Rahman to Ben Stokes, OUT! Stokes departs! Short ball on off, Stokes looks to hit it on the off side but gets a top edge on it. The ball goes high in the air towards point. Mashrafe Mortaza gets there, he keeps his eyes on the ball but it lobs out of his hand. It slips out his hand in the second attempt as well but finally manages to take it in the third attempt. Bangladesh are pulling things back here right at the depth.

M Wood to T Iqbal, OUT! Wood strikes in his very first over. Tamim has not had a great World Cup so far but he was looking good here today and he fails to convert his start once again. Wood hits the length hard on off, Tamim looks to cut it but ends up slicing it to the man at point. The ball goes straight to Eoin Morgan who takes an easy catch. J Archer to S Sarkar, OUT! Knocks him over! An absolute peach to get rid of Sarkar. Just unplayable! Archer steams in and lands it just outside off, Sarkar looks to play the original trajectory. Indicates at what pace this guy is bowling. Dreadful start for Bangladesh.

Ben Stokes to Al Hasan, OUT! The dropped catch has not cost England much. Stokes has impressed in his 1 and a half overs and got a well deserved wicket here. He bowls a perfect yorker on middle and leg, Shakib looks to jam it out but gets an inside edge onto his boot. The ball then goes onto disturb the off pole. End of an excellent innings from Shakib. He walks off to a standing ovation from the crowd. He raises his bat in appreciation.

End of a brilliant stand between Mushfiqur and Shakib but Bangladesh needed much more from them.

Ben Stokes to M Hossain, OUT! Second wicket for Ben Stokes today. Stokes bends his back and bangs it in short, Mosaddek looks to pull but gets a top edge on it. The ball flies to the left of the fielder at fine leg. Jofra Archer runs to that side and takes a good tumbling catch.

Ben Stokes to M Saifuddin, OUT! BOWLED! No such luck for Saifuddin here. Fuller in length on middle and off, Saifuddin looks to flick but misses and the ball goes between his bat and pad onto the stumps. Third wicket for Stokes, he did not have a good day with the bat but he has certainly enjoyed his time with the ball.

Archer hits the deck hard on a length outside off, Mehedi looks to hit it on the off side but gets a feather on it and Bairstow behind the stumps takes a simple catch. Mustafizur looks to duck but he is late and the ball hits him very high on the bat and lobs up to the right of Bairstow. He gets there and takes a simple catch. ENGLAND WIN BY 106 RUNS.
