Suryakumar Yadavb Umesh Yadav 0 1 0 0 0

U Yadav to S Yadav, OUT! TIMBER! Umesh Yadav strikes off the first ball. Excellent delivery first up. He comes running in and lands it on a length around off, it shapes back in a touch after pitching. Suryakumar Yadav goes for a drive but he leaves a gap between bat and pad and it goes through it and hits the off stump. Yadav is up and running in celebration and there is a pin drop silence at Wankhede. Brilliant start for Bangalore. Ishan Kishan is the next man in.
Evin Lewisc Quinton de Kock b Corey Anderson 65 42 6 5 154.76
11.2
C Anderson to E Lewis, OUT! In the air... taken! Corey Anderson strikes and he gives Bangalore the much-needed breakthrough. An excellent catch by de Kock, that was a real skier. A full ball on off, it was the slower one. Lewis tries to go downtown but only manages to hit it up in the air towards short fine leg. De Kock turns and runs towards it, judges it well and takes it nicely. Virat Kohli is pumped up as the 108-run stand has been broken and an entertaining innings by Lewis comes to an end. Bangalore will now look to build on this.
Ishan Kishan (W)b Umesh Yadav 0 1 0 0 0
0.2
U Yadav to I Kishan, OUT! Two-in-two for Umesh! What a delivery this is. How do you play those? Ishan Kishan surely does not have the answer. Full again from over the wicket on off, this one shapes in late, very late. Ishan too goes for the booming drive but he too leaves a gap between bat and pad. The ball sneaks through and rattles the off stump. Mumbai are in big trouble here and Bangalore could not have asked for a better start. Umesh Yadav is on a hat-trick.
Rohit Sharma (C)c Chris Woakes b Corey Anderson 94 52 10 5 180.77
19.5
C Anderson to R Sharma, OUT! Rohit holes out! But what a wonderful innings by the Mumbai skipper. He has announced his arrival to form and other teams will have to watch out for him now. Once again he's aiming for the straight boundary, fails to get enough power this time and a simple catch for Woakes at long on. The Wankhede stands to applaud for the Hitman!
Krunal Pandyarun out (Chris Woakes) 15 12 1 1 125
15.3
C Anderson to R Sharma, OUT! No, it has not! Pandya is well short. Rohit comes down the track and mistimes it straight down the ground. They complete one and they go for the second. Nasser Hussain on air mentions it is not a good idea as Woakes is quick to the ball and fires a throw to the bowler. Anderson collects it well and takes the bails off. The players appeal, they do not look that confident though and the umpire goes upstairs. Replays show that even though Krunal has dived, he is short. So an innings in which we saw a lot of mistimed shots comes to an end. Pandya has been dismissed against Bangalore for the first time in this League.
Kieron Pollardc AB de Villiers b Chris Woakes 5 7 0 0 71.43
18.1
C Woakes to K Pollard, OUT! Woakes gets the dangerous Pollard! A big wicket at this time. A slower ball on off, Pollard tries to go downtown but does not connect well. It goes towards long on where AB de Villiers runs to his right and takes a nice catch. First wicket for Woakes. Kohli will be happy to see the back of Pollard as he could have easily made a difference of 10 runs.

M McClenaghan to de Kock, OUT! BOWLED 'EM! Mitchell McClenaghan draws first blood. They needed this especially after the start Bangalore are off to. De Kock walks down the track and McClenaghan drags his length back a little and bowls it on off. De Kock tries to force it through the off side but misses the ball all ends up and sees the LED bails light up. The Mumbai players are ecstatic and they get the dangerous Quinton. 174 more needed.

M McClenaghan to de Villiers, OUT! Make that two in the over for McClenaghan! And it is the big one, NO, the HUGE one of AB de Villiers. He bangs this one short on middle, AB de Villiers goes for the pull shot. He connects well but does not get the desired height. He hits it flat and finds the fielder, Hardik Pandya at deep mid-wicket to perfection who takes a sitter. The crowd erupts and de Villiers walks back dejected. McClenaghan is off on a celebratory run. Bangalore in big trouble now.

K Pandya to C Anderson, OUT! Gone first ball. It's going from bad to worse for Bangalore. The Kiwi goes down on one knee for a big slog sweep first up but fails to make proper connection. An easy catch for Duminy (sub) in the deep mid-wicket region. Krunal is all pumped up. The crowd is right behind Mumbai. They have Bangalore on the mat but cannot afford to relax till the time skipper Kohli is in the middle.
Washington Sundarc Suryakumar Yadav b Krunal Pandya 7 8 1 0 87.5
11.3
K Pandya to W Sundar, OUT! Krunal is putting on a show here. Another one in the bag for him. A great piece of thinking bowling. He bowls it wide outside off, Sundar has to reach out for it as he attempts for a big shot. Fails to get any control on his lofted shot and hands a simple catch to Suryakumar Yadav at long off. The wheels are coming off, half the side is back in the hut and their skipper Kohli is quickly running out of partners.
Sarfaraz Khanst sub b Mayank Markande 5 6 1 0 83.33
13.5
M Markande to S Khan, OUT! STUMPED! Nicely bowled! Markande slows this one up and tosses it up outside off. Sarfaraz comes down the track and tries to throw the kitchen sink at it. But he is beaten by the flight and away turn. Misses the ball completely, Tare collects the ball and whips the bails off immediately. Not sure what the Bangalore batsmen are thinking. They have one of the best batsmen in the world at the other end but are just refusing to stay with him in the middle.
Chris Woakesc Krunal Pandya b Jasprit Bumrah 11 11 0 1 100

J Bumrah to C Woakes, OUT! EASY CATCH! Krunal Pandya takes it, you just cannot keep him out of the game. A slower ball and very full outside off. Woakes opens the face of the bat and tries to hit it over the point region but it takes the edge and goes into the hands of short third man. Bumrah gets his first.
Umesh Yadavc Rohit Sharma b Jasprit Bumrah 1 2 0 0 50

J Bumrah to U Yadav, OUT! In the air... taken! Bumrah gets his second and both in this over. A bumper on off, Umesh tries to pull hard but the ball takes the top edge and balloons towards Rohit Sharma at covers who takes it easily. The end is now nigh for Bangalore.
