Rohit Sharma (C)c Shakib Al Hasan b Billy Stanlake 11 10 1 1 110
1.6
B Stanlake to R Sharma, OUT! GONE! That is all from the Hitman today. He has not made Hyderabad pay for the let off he got. Stanlake strikes, he has the last laugh. A soft dismissal but. He bowls this on the pads, Sharma flicks it uppishly towards Shakib at square leg who dives forward and takes an excellent catch inches above the ground. He is pumped up and so is the Hyderabad team. A big wicket for them as Rohit Sharma bags another failure. A good end to the over, 10 runs and a wicket from it.
Evin Lewisb Siddarth Kaul 29 17 3 2 170.59
5.6
S Kaul to E Lewis, OUT! TIMBER! The last ball of the Powerplay provides a wicket. The dangerous Lewis is walking back now. What an over this from Kaul, two wickets and he now has brought Hyderabad right on top. Once again it is the knuckle ball on off, Lewis goes for the heave across the line without picking the variation and pays a big price for it. He misses to see his off stump getting rattled. An excellent bowling change by Williamson and because of the two wickets in this over, Hyderabad will be the happier of the two sides after the Powerplay as Mumbai are 54 for 3.
Ishan Kishan (W)c Yusuf Pathan b Siddarth Kaul 9 9 2 0 100
5.2
S Kaul to I Kishan, OUT! This time too the drop catch has not cost a lot as Kaul strikes off his second ball. Kishan's fidgety stay out there comes to an end. He was playing too many shots and that has brought his downfall. Kaul angles it across the batsman as he lands this one outside off. Kishan tries to go big but gets a top edge towards third man where Pathan takes it very low. He then signals as he did not sight the ball. A good catch by him in the end. A much-needed wicket for Hyderabad, can they now build on this?
Suryakumar Yadavc Deepak Hooda b Sandeep Sharma 28 31 2 1 90.32
18.4
S Sharma to S Yadav, OUT! Yadav holes out! So two dots has brought about a wicket. Another slower ball, once again there is hardly any pace on this delivery. Yadav swings hard but the ball goes off the toe end towards Manish Pandey at long on. He runs in and takes a good catch. End of Yadav and Mumbai seem to be losing their way here.
Krunal Pandyac Kane Williamson b Shakib Al Hasan 15 10 2 0 150
8.5
Al Hasan to K Pandya, OUT! Leading edge and taken! Shakib has the last laugh. He once again bowls it slower, brings all his experience into play. Pandya looks to nudge it on the leg side and take two like he did on the first two balls. This time though he closes the bat face a touch early and gets a leading edge which lobs towards Kane Williamson who takes a very easy catch at covers. Another big wicket for Hyderabad as Pandya was looking really good out there. Mumbai in a spot of bother now.
Kieron Pollardc Shikhar Dhawan b Billy Stanlake 28 23 3 2 121.74
14.5
B Stanlake to K Pollard, OUT! In the air.. caught! There is the wicket Williamson wanted, there is the wicket the whole of Hyderabad wanted. Just as Mumbai were starting to get a move on, just as Pollard was starting to find the fence, he falls in a bizarre manner. Stanlake lands this one on a length around off, Pollard goes for the drive but as the ball sticks in the surface, he stops his shot midway. The ball, however, still hits the middle of the willow and goes high up in the air. It carries towards Dhawan who is positioned at deep extra cover and he takes a simple catch. Half the side back in the hut for Mumbai.
Ben Cuttingb Rashid Khan 9 9 1 0 100
17.3
R Khan to Ben Cutting, OUT! Rashid Khan gets his man and then gives him a stare! What a bowler and his passion for the game is unreal. Really fun to watch this guy. He bowls the googly outside off, Cutting does not pick it as he comes down the track and heaves across the line. A blind swing of the willow as he completely misses the ball to see his off stump get uprooted. An important wicket at an important time as we all know how dangerous Cutting can be.
Pradeep Sangwanlbw b Sandeep Sharma 0 4 0 0 0
18.5
S Sharma to P Sangwan, OUT! That is plumb! Hawk Eye shows three reds. Another slower ball does the trick. It is on off and Sangwan is completely deceived as he tries to flick across the line. He misses to get hit on the pads. Sandeep makes a huge appeal but the umpire does not agree with him. Sandeep however, feels he has got his man and convinces his captain to go for the review. Williamson signals the 'T'. Replays roll in and it shows it to be hitting the off pole. The on-field call has to be overturned and another one bites the dust for Mumbai. Sharma gets two-in-two and he will be on a hat-trick.

Wriddhiman Saha (W)lbw b Mayank Markande 22 20 3 0 110
6.5
M Markande to W Saha, OUT! That's hitting the leg stump, wonder how? A well-disguised googly by Markande, Saha takes a little shimmy down the track and then realizes that he is beaten in flight. Fails to pick the variation, tries to keep it out but fails. He is rapped on the pads, they appeal but the umpire shakes his head. To be honest, that looked to be missing leg and at the most would have clipped the leg stump. But no. The replays roll in, finds the impact in line and shows it to be hitting the leg pole. Well, with the batsmen down the track a bit, it's a bit shocking to see that. Anyway, Saha has been given the marching orders. First success for Mumbai but they need many more in quick time.
Shikhar Dhawanc Jasprit Bumrah b Mayank Markande 45 28 8 0 160.71
8.5
M Markande to S Dhawan, OUT! Dhawan holes out and this is a massive breakthrough for Mumbai! The southpaw was looking in dangerous form and the visitors will be delighted to see his back. Markande once again providing with the goods. A tossed up ball on middle, Dhawan tries to play the slog sweep but it takes the top edge and flies straight down the throat of Bumrah at fine leg. He loses his balance a touch but stays well inside the limit. Good phase of play for Mumbai but they cannot afford to relax. The asking rate for the home team ain't much and hence they need to keep chipping away at the wickets.
Kane Williamson (C)c Ishan Kishan b Mustafizur Rahman 6 4 1 0 150
7.6
M Rahman to K Williamson, OUT! Terrific review again from Mumbai! They have got the prized scalp of Kane Williamson. The Kiwi skipper once again tries to be cute with his little dab shot. But this time he seems to have edged it behind. Ishan Kishan gathers the ball and straightaway runs in delight. He lets out a roaring appeal, the bowler also joins him but the umpire shows no interest. Mumbai opt for the review and hit the jackpot. The Snicko detects a slight edge. Hyderabad have suddenly hit a roadblock.
Manish Pandeyc Rohit Sharma b Mayank Markande 11 8 1 0 137.5
10.2
M Markande to M Pandey, OUT! Rash, very rash from Pandey. They don't need these kind of high risk shots as the asking rate is well under control. Markande dishes out a loopy leg spinner around middle, Manish skips down the track and tries to heave it over the leg side. But it spins away to catch a top edge. The ball loops in the air, Mayank moves across to his left to take the catch initially but after seeing his skipper getting underneath it, he stops. There wasn't any calling by the look of things and Rohit somehow manages to hold on to the catch. Pandey will be kicking himself at the moment. A needless shot, have to say.
Shakib Al Hasanb Mayank Markande 12 12 1 0 100
12.6
M Markande to Al Hasan, OUT! Shakib drags it on! Mayank has his fourth, what a debut season he is having. Another googly, landing a bit short and outside off, Shakib stays back footed and then tries to push at it at the last moment. It takes the inside half of his bat and lights the stumps. Markande is ecstatic. 41 needed off 42 balls, game on! Meanwhile, the leggie has finished his spell for the evening, 4-0-23-4, praiseworthy!
Deepak Hoodanot out 32 25 1 1 128
Yusuf Pathanc Kieron Pollard b Jasprit Bumrah 14 14 2 0 100
17.4
J Bumrah to Y Pathan, OUT! A soft dismissal for Pathan! Bumrah digs in a short ball on middle and off, Yusuf fails to middle his attempted pull shot properly and hands a simple catch to Kieron Pollard at short mid-wicket. Is there any twist in the tale? 12 needed off 14 balls.
Rashid Khanc Ishan Kishan b Jasprit Bumrah 0 1 0 0 0
17.5
J Bumrah to R Khan, OUT! Gone first ball. There is still life left in this game. Bumrah is doing it for his team, he is on a hat-trick now. A fuller length ball outside off, Rashid tries to drive it through covers but it takes the outside edge and settles nicely in the gloves of Ishan Kishan.
Siddarth Kaulc & b Mustafizur Rahman 0 4 0 0 0
18.4
M Rahman to S Kaul, OUT! Caught and bowled! Mumbai can believe! Their supporters in the crowd are going crazy. A slower delivery, full and on middle, Kaul tries playing it straight but ends up chipping it back. Rahman makes sure to keep it under his grasp. Phew, this is going down to the wire.
Sandeep Sharmac Krunal Pandya b Mustafizur Rahman 0 2 0 0 0
18.6
M Rahman to S Sharma, OUT! Another one bites the dust! Mustafizur has his arms aloft in celebration. A shortish length ball around off, angling away, Sandeep shuffles across the stumps to chip it over short fine leg but fails to connect properly. It lobs in the air and Krunal Pandya accepts the catch gleefully.
