Brian Charic Martin Guptill b Tim Southee 4 2 1 0 200
0.2
Tim Southee to Chari, OUT! EARLY SUCCESS FOR SOUTHEE! And that's a good delivery. Tim's bowled it back of a length and outside off, a little straighter I think this time, and it has some away movement too. Chari has a poke at this and gets a healthy edge. Flies to second slip where Martin Guptill takes a good catch. Chari has to make the long walk back to the pavilion.
Chamu Chibhabhac Tom Latham b Neil Wagner 15 50 1 0 30
16.4
N Wagner to Chibhabha, OUT! WAGNER GETS HIS JUST REWARDS! He deserves it. He's been terrific so far. Back of a length delivery around off, Chibhabha rocks back and pulls this in the air towards mid-wicket. Doesn't get a hold of this at all and it's a simple take for Latham who runs to his right a few paces and takes a good catch. Second wicket down for the hosts.
Hamilton Masakadzac & b Mitchell Santner 15 52 2 0 28.85
17.4
Santner to Masakadza, OUT! NOW SANTNER JOINS THE PARTY! A soft dismissal really. Tossed up on middle and off, Masakadza drives this on the up straight back to the spinner. It's a simple take for him and now, the experienced Zimbabwean has to depart. Big wicket this for the tourists. Two wickets in two overs now for New Zealand.
Craig Ervinest Bradley Watling b Mitchell Santner 13 42 1 0 30.95
31.3
M Santner to Ervine, OUT! DOWN THE TRACK AND STUMPED! Looped around off, Ervine dances down the track and looks to slog the ball. It is an off spinner, he misjudges the length, swings and misses. The ball goes into the hands of the keeper who is quick to dislodge the bails. The fielding side erupt into cheers and the umpire raises the finger. Just when the partnership was looking promising!
Sean Williamsc Ish Sodhi b Neil Wagner 1 3 0 0 33.33
18.2
N Wagner to Williams, OUT! Wagner goes in for the shorter one again! On middle and Williams hunches his shoulders and appears to pull it to mid-wicket. The ball is lobbed straight into the fielder's hands for an easy catch. Williams gestures to his helmet but the umpire raises his finger. Wickets tumbling here for the hosts. However, replays show that the ball did actually come straight off his helmet. Poor Williams, Zimbabwe will rue to lack of DRS.
Sikandar Razac Tom Latham b Neil Wagner 22 42 3 0 52.38
32.2
N Wagner to Raza, OUT! Raza falls as well! Wagner digs in another short ball around middle, Raza stands back to get on top of the bounce but it gets big on him and he ends up turning it in the air towards square leg. A simple catch to Tom Latham. Third wicket for Wagner!
Prince Masvaurelbw b Tim Southee 42 98 7 0 42.86
74.4
Tim Southee to Masvaure, OUT! On the pads! Fuller ball around off, the ball seams in again. This time Masvaure gets on the front foot to push it away but misjudges the length. He misses his shot, the ball angles in and hits his pads. The fielding side makes an appeal for LBW and the umpire concurs as the ball seems to have gone on the clip the leg stump! That is the biggest wicket so far, and one sure to come as a big relief for NZ!
Regis Chakabva (W)c Bradley Watling b Neil Wagner 0 3 0 0 0
32.5
N Wagner to Chakabva, OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Wagner continues to run amok! He dishes out a back of a length ball around off, angling away once again, Chakabva feels for it as he is stuck on the back foot and gets a faint outside edge behind to the keeper. Watling makes no mistake and Zimbabwe are in serious danger of getting bowled out under 100!
Graeme Cremer (C)c Henry Nicholls b Neil Wagner 0 1 0 0 0
32.6
N Wagner to G Cremer, OUT! This is seriously terrific bowling and Wagner gets his THIRD FIVE-FOR in Tests! The Zimbabwean skipper lasts just one ball. Wagner digs in a shortish ball around the hips, Cremer tries to keep it out but it catches his gloves and lobs up to short leg. Nicholls stationed there dives forward to complete the catch. Poor, very poor from Zimbabwe, they are showing zero stomach to fight. This is Test cricket, a real test of your skills, technique and temperament and I'm sorry, Zimbabwe are looking completely out of place.
Donald Tiripanonot out 49 162 6 1 30.25
Michael Chinouyab Neil Wagner 1 12 0 0 8.33
77.5
N Wagner to Chinouya, OUT! AND ZIMBABWE HAVE BEEN BOWLED OUT! Was just getting there, with each ball and he's finally gotten the perfect line. A good length delivery on middle, a touch of reverse swing on that as the ball straightens up a bit. Chinouya is caught here as he tries to put bat on ball. The ball beats the outside edge and knocks the bails over. And with that, ZIMBABWE FINISH THEIR INNINGS ON 164!

25.5
C Chibhabha to Guptill, OUT! Chibhabha draws first blood! Full ball outside off, Guptill gets to the pitch of the ball and tries to essay it through covers. The ball takes the outside edge and flies to the gully region. Ervine out there pouches it with both the hands. The Zimbabweans have taken the prized wicket of Guptill. The opening stand is broken.
Tom Lathamc Brian Chari b Hamilton Masakadza 105 209 12 0 50.24
72.2
H Masakadza to Tom Latham, OUT ! Latham departs! Fuller length ball outside off, Latham goes for a loose shot but the away ball kisses the bat and it is taken by the keeper diving to his left. The southpaw departs after playing so well. The Zimbabweans have finally got the breakthrough.
Kane Williamson (C)c Hamilton Masakadza b Graeme Cremer 91 179 9 0 50.84
85.1
G Cremer to K Williamson, OUT! Captain gets captain! Tossed up ball on off, it spins away after pitching. Williamson prods forward and looks to defend with the full face of the bat. The ball takes a faint nick and Masakadza at first slip takes a simple catch. The well-paced innings of Williamson has come to an end. The nervous 90's has done the trick for him.
Ross Taylornot out 173 299 19 0 57.86
Henry Nichollsc Brian Chari b Donald Tiripano 18 38 2 0 47.37

D Tiripano to H Nicholls, OUT! Tiripano gets his man! Hurls a length ball from wide outside of the crease, it angles away from the batsman. Nicholls gets squared up and nicks it. Chari behind the wickets takes the catch with glee. Tiripano is delighted and the hosts side is all ecstatic!
Ish Sodhic Brian Chari b Michael Chinouya 11 28 2 0 39.29
101.6
M Chinouya to Ish Sodhi, OUT! Another wicket by the pacer! Good length delivery outside off, Sodhi looks to block it to the off side but the ball holds its line and grazes past the outside edge of his bat. It goes straight to the keeper for an easy catch and that is the end of the nightwatchman.
Bradley Watling (W)c sub b Sikandar Raza 107 172 12 0 62.21
166.5
S Raza to Watling, OUT! Straight into the hands of the fielder! Raza bowls it short on middle, Watling gets down on one knee and looks to go for the pull shot. He ends up hitting it in the hands of the substitute fielder at deep square leg and with that NEW ZEALAND HAVE DECLARED!

Chamu Chibhabhac Ross Taylor b Trent Boult 7 5 1 0 140
3.2
T Boult to C Chibhabha, OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! Another one and just like the first! Good length delivery and outside off, Chibhabha looks to defend and and once again, edges it to the slips as the ball is angling away. It goes to Taylor once more at first slip and he is all too happy to pouch this one as well. This is disastrous for the hosts!
Hamilton Masakadzac Ross Taylor b Tim Southee 4 3 1 0 133.33
0.4
Tim Southee to H Masakadza, OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Back of a length ball outside off, Masakadza looks to defend that one but the ball angles away slightly, takes the outside edge of his willow and flies at a nice height towards Taylor at first slip. He doesn't miss many and Southee provides an early breakthrough.
Brian Charib Trent Boult 5 6 1 0 83.33
1.4
T Boult to B Chari, OUT! Bowled 'em! That's a beauty of a delivery from Boult! Bowls it full and zips in with the angle. Chari prods forward to defend but the ball sneaks through the gap between his bat and pad and disturbs the woodwork behind. New Zealand right on the money and home side in early trouble here.
Craig Ervinec Bradley Watling b Trent Boult 50 60 7 0 83.33
22.3
T Boult to C Ervine, OUT! GOT HIM! Boult strikes! Good length angled in from around off, straightens a touch after pitching as Ervine pushes at it from the crease. Gets the faintest of edges through to Watling who pouches a good low catch. Break in concentration probably cost Ervine as he had played well yesterday.
Prince Masvaurelbw b Trent Boult 0 1 0 0 0
3.3
Boult to Masvaure, OUT! BOULT STRIKES AGAIN! Full ball on middle, Masvaure looks to play a front foot defence but the ball seams in and hits him plumb on the pads. Boult bursts into an appeal and doesn't stop till the umpire raises his finger. He is now on a HAT-TRICK!
Sikandar Razac Tom Latham b Neil Wagner 37 29 8 0 127.59
12.2
Wagner to S Raza, OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! Short delivery, Raza looks to pull it but gets a top edge and the ball goes to the keeper for an easy catch. The stand has been broken!
Graeme Cremer (C)lbw b Ish Sodhi 33 130 6 0 25.38
55.5
Sodhi to Cremer, OUT! GONE! SODHI BREAKS THE STAND! The slider on middle and leg, Cremer doesn't pick the quicker one and plays across the line only to be rapped on the pads. Lbw appeal is given. Height was the only concern there but might have been clipping the stumps perhaps. Anyway no DRS and so Cremer has to go after a gritty show.
Sean Williamsc Kane Williamson b Mitchell Santner 119 148 21 0 80.41
73.1
M Santner to Williams, OUT! Flighted around off, Sean Williams looks to slog it over the covers but miscues it. The ball is lofted high and returns to the ground at deep mid-wicket. Captain Williamson is there to greet it and takes care to safely pouch it in a tumble.
Regis Chakabva (W)b Tim Southee 11 41 1 0 26.83
68.2
Southee to R Chakabva, OUT! Outfoxed! Good length delivery on leg, Regis Chakabva looks to flick it but the ball swings in sharply around his legs and hits him on the pads and then the woodwork. The batsman is stunned and remains at the crease for a moment.
Donald Tiripanoc Bradley Watling b Neil Wagner 14 33 3 0 42.42
78.6
N Wagner to Tiripano, OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! Good length delivery angling away, Donald edges it to the keeper and it is a straight forward catch for him. Celebrations all across the field as the umpire raises his finger. NEW ZEALAND WIN BY AN INNINGS AND 117 RUNS!
