Full and outside off, de Silva looked to go over the top, as mid on and mid off were inside the circle but the ball hit the top half of the bat. As a result, the ball went high in the air but did not have enough distance. Faf du Plessis ran to his right from mid off, kept his eyes on the ball and took a decent catch.

He was hit across the line, so the ball seemed to be crashing into the stumps. Must have been disappointed on not getting that ball away then.
