Jonny Bairstowb Oshane Thomas 56 43 4 4 130.23
13.5
O Thomas to J Bairstow, OUT! Chopped on! There comes the first wicket. Out of nowhere. Landed outside off, Bairstow looks to run it down to third man but gets a thick inside edge which crashes into the stumps. Jonny is not disappointed. He is disgusted with himself. Imagine you getting served a feast but choosing to diet only on fruits. The 100-run stand is broken.
Alex Halesc Shimron Hetmyer b Ashley Nurse 82 73 8 2 112.33
25.5
A Nurse to A Hales, OUT! That is a spectacular catch from Shimron Hetmyer! Big wicket for the Windies. Hales does not get his century. Tossed up, around middle and off, Alex gets under it and looks to hit it down the ground. For a second, it seems like the connection is great. But suddenly, out of nowhere, Shimron Hetmyer races to his left from long on, like a spring chicken, leaps to his left and takes a stunning catch, with the ropes just behind! And then the reaction - what a swagger. Just throws the ball back into play as if to say, okay, I have taken the catch, let's move ahead.
Joe Rootc Shai Hope b Oshane Thomas 5 10 0 0 50
17.3
O Thomas to Joe Root, OUT! Caught behind! There is a thin nick and Root has to depart! Second wicket for the Windies and this has come in reasonably quick time. Short and outside off, Root looked to cut but missed. There seemed to be a sound as the ball went past the bat and Shai Hope immediately started to celebrate once he took it. But umpire Oxenford shook his head. Hope immediately signalled to Holder to go for the review and one look in Snickometer was enough. A spike was generated when the ball went past the edge. On his bike, goes Joe. England maintain their approach of going after the bowling.
Eoin Morgan (C)c Jason Holder b Sheldon Cottrell 103 88 8 6 117.05
46.1
S Cottrell to E Morgan, OUT! Stop the press. A wicket has fallen. A length ball outside off, probably change in pace, Morgan is early into his shot. Looks to go over the top but miscues it high in the air. Jason Holder comes running in at long off and takes it nicely. End of a 204-run stand. Wow.
Jos Buttler (W)b Carlos Brathwaite 150 77 13 12 194.81
49.4
C Brathwaite to Jos Buttler, OUT! BOWLED! Buttler does not stay till the end. A length ball, slower in pace, 108 kph, Jos swings hard but misses and the ball hits the timber. End of a phenomenal knock. 150 from 77 balls, 13 fours and 12 sixes!
Ben Stokesc Shimron Hetmyer b Carlos Brathwaite 11 10 1 0 110
49.6
C Brathwaite to Ben Stokes, OUT! Taken! A wicket to end the innings. Full and outside off, Stokes reaches out and looks to clear the man at long off but holes out to Shimron Hetmyer in the deep. ENGLAND FINISH ON 418/6!

Chris Gayleb Ben Stokes 162 97 11 14 167.01
34.1
Ben Stokes to C Gayle, OUT! TIMBERRRRR! Is that it for the Windies? Is that the game? Big, bigger, biggest moment of this chase. The Universe Boss is gone. You miss I hit formula. Stokes keeps it straight, on a length and Gayle, for once, misses his swing. The ball skids on off the deck and shatters the stumps. England are pumped up. Why wouldn't they be? Gayle departs for 162 from 97 balls. 11 fours and 14 sixes. 124 more needed from 95 balls...
John Campbellc Joe Root b Mark Wood 15 9 2 1 166.67
3.1
M Wood to J Campbell, OUT!!! Caught. Good length delivery on middle, Campbell looks to hit it across the line and pull it away. He gets a top edge onto this one and the ball goes uppishly straight to the fielder at cover. Root there makes no mistake and takes a very comfortable catch. The English players are up in celebration and not the start Windies were looking for.
Shai Hope (W)c Jos Buttler b Mark Wood 5 7 1 0 71.43
5.2
M Wood to S Hope, OUT! Caught! Windies lose their second. Good length delivery outside off, Hope goes to poke it and gets a thick outside edge. Buttler cannot do much wrong and dives to his right to take a good catch. The hosts now are in big trouble. They need their big man Gayle to play a big innings.
Darren Bravoc Ben Stokes b Mark Wood 61 59 4 4 103.39
23.1
M Wood to D Bravo, OUT! Caught! Wood gives the breakthrough! The 176-run stand is broken. Is this the break England were looking for? A short ball, around middle, Bravo, as has been trying since the last few overs, looks to deposit this into the stands. He had been successful in the last 2-3 overs but not this time. Looks to pull but the ball cramps him for room. Also, the pace of Wood does the trick, making the ball come quickly at the batsman. Little Bravo looks to pull but gets a top edge which goes straight up in the air. Ben Stokes takes a sitter at short mid-wicket. Well played, Bravo. Played perfect foil to the big-hitting Gayle.
Shimron Hetmyerc Alex Hales b Mark Wood 6 2 0 1 300
23.3
M Wood to S Hetmyer, OUT! Straight to the man! Sad, sad batting. Six first ball and then a wicket on the next. Literally thrown it away. Hetmyer probably forgot that there is SOMEONE at the other end who just needs some support. He can single-handedly take Windies to a 2-1 series lead. But needs someone to partner him. Another short ball, Shimron looks but this time it is a 143 kph delivery. Hence, SH is slightly late onto the shot. Still, he connects decently. However, because of the extra pace, he does not get enough elevation. The hit is flat and Alex Hales makes no mistake at deep mid-wicket. 4 wickets down, all the 4 to Wood!
Jason Holder (C)st Jos Buttler b Adil Rashid 29 35 3 0 82.86
35.5
A Rashid to J Holder, OUT!!! Stumped. Yes, Holder is a goner. Flighted delivery on off, the ball spins away after pitching. Holder stretches and looks to drive it through the line but misses. Jos Buttler behind the stumps takes the bails off in a flash and is up in joy as he feels they have got their man. The square leg umpire takes it upstairs and replays show his foot was in the air and the Windies skipper has to depart. Big wicket for England. Only the handful English supporters are enjoying it. Into the lower order now.
Carlos Brathwaitec Eoin Morgan b Adil Rashid 50 36 4 2 138.89
47.3
A Rashid to C Brathwaite, OUT! Caught! This should be the final nail in the coffin. Rashid struts his stuff. Tossed up outside off, Brathwaite looks to slog but the ball spins away and induces a leading edge. Eoin Morgan runs a bit to his left from cover and takes it calmly. Good fight from Carlos but it was too much to do.
Ashley Nursec Liam Plunkett b Adil Rashid 43 41 5 0 104.88
47.2
A Rashid to A Nurse, OUT! Taken this time! No usage of the life by Nurse. He departs. Floated, around middle, Ashley swings hard, rather, tries to heave but only gets a top edge. Short fine leg calls for it and Liam Plunkett takes it with ease. That ends the 88-run stand and the hosts are back in trouble. 30 more needed from 16 balls.
Devendra Bishooc Alex Hales b Adil Rashid 0 2 0 0 0
47.5
A Rashid to D Bishoo, OUT! Caught! Third wicket in the over and this is folding up now. Rashid has his fourth. Floated, around middle, Bishoo gets down and mows the slog sweep. Unfortunately for him, finds Alex Hales to perfection at deep mid-wicket.

A Rashid to O Thomas, OUT! STUMPED! That ends the game! ENGLAND WIN BY 29 RUNS AND TAKE AN UNASSAILABLE 2-1 SERIES LEAD. Second ODI fifer for Rashid. The googly, outside off, Thomas walks into the shot but is comfortably beaten by the googly. He is well outside the crease and Buttler whips off the bails in a flash. England retain their number 1 ranking in ODIs as well.
