Alastair Cook believes England’s loss to New Zealand in the 2nd Test at Headingley was frustrating

England lost 10 wickets on Day Five, which resulted in a 199-run win for New Zealand.

England captain Alastair Cook says that the loss at Headingley in the second Test against New Zealand was frustrating. He says, that England did not cash in on the big moments ad as a result lost the match. But he still maintains that England should have batted out Day Five. His team were 44 for no loss going into the final day and New Zealand managed to knock all the batsmen over, courtesy of three wickets from off-spinners Mark Craig and Kane Williamson. New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum says that this win is because his side maintained the belief that they can succeed with the kind of cricket they have been playing for quite sometime. McCullum also believes that a third Test would have been great but at the end of the day 1-1 is a fair reflection.
