England’s strike bowler, James Anderson got some miles under his legs by bowling  an impressive first spell of seven overs on the final day of England’s warm-up game against Australia A at Hobart.

With a crackerjack inswinger he shattered the timber of Test hopeful Alex Doolan. He followed it up by catching the edge of Usman Khawaja’s bat with what has become his trademark away swinger to left-handed  batsmen. England’s other trump card and off-spinner Graeme Swann accounted for South Australia’s veteran batsman Michael Klinger by getting him out LBW. The towering giant Chris Tremlett bowled a tidy spell of eight overs too.
