Greame Smith gave his thoughts on the likely outcome of Morne Morkel out with an injury, he said “We haven’t had too many injuries from our frontline in the recent past. Kyle Abott and Rory Klinevelt has ably deputised whenever we needed them.”

 

Vernon Philander took a lot of flak for his batting in the final overs but Skipper Graeme Smith jumped to his defense , saying “We needed someone like Vernon (Philander) who has great character and has performed in all conditions across the globe. His batting has gone from strength to strength and he is simply a captain’s delight.”
