After stunning the world with his spectacular catch of Brett Lee‘s bowling in the Big Bash, Jordan Silk‘s consistent performances has rewarded him with the Allan Border medal for the emerging player of the year award.

Silk said he was extremely happy with all the adulation he was getting and was looking forward to continuing in the same vein in 2014 as well.

Sydney Sixers player Jordan Silk, who holds the record for being the youngest player to make a century on debut, was positioned at mid-on and dived full stretch to his left to somehow grasp a full-blooded smash from Brisbane Heat batsman Craig Kieswetter in the Big Bash League.
