Star batsman, Kevin Pietersen has been axed from the England side for good. After a disastrous show in the recently concluded Ashes series down under, Pietersen was not selected in the England squad for the upcoming tour of West Indies, and the selectors have given him a clear signal that he is no more in the minds of the selectors for England’s long term plans.

Pietersen has been England’s best batsman across all formats till date. Yet, due to disciplinary issues and a sour relationship with the management and a few teammates, the selectors have decided to move ahead without him.
