The Ashes 2005 is among the most memorable Ashes contests in its recent history. A video series of all the five Tests are provided named The Hidden Ashes, as all the video highlights have unorthodox camera angles on the field to capture a new experience of witnessing the hard-fought contest. Each Test has about ten minutes of these highlights. A lot of these are interesting not only due to the freshness of cricket’s consumption, but also for capturing with unusual clarity the expressions of players and even one or two chats. Australia won the first Test comfortably, before losing in dramatic fashion, by two runs, the following Test in Birmingham. The third Test at Manchester was a close draw, the penultimate one was won nervously by England, giving them a 2-1 lead. That lead they maintained by drawing the final Test at The Oval, to win their first Ashes in 18 years.
