Sitting on the third spot with 14 points against their name, Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), currently on the eighth spot but showing the signs of revival, in the 46th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 at the Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi on Sunday.

The Shreyas Iyer-led side is coming into this game on the back of two wins – against Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). Virat Kohli’s RCB, meanwhile, will be chasing their fourth successive win, having beaten KXIP, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their previous three games.

While DC are almost certain to make it to the playoffs, unless a chaotic last three games, and the other permutations and combinations spoil the party, this game is yet another must-win game for Kohli and Co. as they aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive despite the six successive losses in the first half of the tournament this season.

Whatever happens at Kotla, a winning streak will come to an end, will it be of the home team or of the opposition that’s being led by the Delhi man?
