The main round of the ICC World T20 2016 is underway with hosts India going down to a spirited New Zealand side rather embarrassingly in the first game of the second round. The second day will witness a double header with Pakistan taking on Bangladesh at Kolkata and West Indies meeting England at Mumbai later in the day.
Even though Pakistan are the traditional favorurites, Bangladesh have long shed the underdogs tag and are a serious competitor these days. As a matter of fact, they have humbled Pakistan in all five previous meetings and look a better side at the moment. The presence of the likes of Tamim Iqbal, Sabbir Rahman and Mahmudullah make them a formidable unit.
Add the experience of Shakib-Al-Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza, and the unit becomes a threat to any team. Pakistan will be wary of their opponents and will look to shrug off the recent controversies.
