India kept their hopes alive of making to the semi-finals of the ongoing ICC World T20 2016 by beating Bangladesh in a nail-biting encounter at Bangalore. The match went on to the last over of the game which India won by a whisker of a run.
Jasprit Bumrah was awful in his first spell as he gave away many runs and had butterfingers in the field as he dropped a sitter of Tamim Iqbal early on in the innings. He certainly didn’t have a great day on the field but bounced back emphatically in the 19th over of the game.
He steamed in got his Yorkers right as he leaked just six runs off the crucial 19th over. India needed just 17 off last 12 and Bumrah certainly pulled back things in India’s favour. He was the unsung hero of India’s victory.
Bumrah’s Mumbai Indians coach Jonty Rhodes seems to be disappointed with his catching skills as he tweeted.
Great team effort @BCCI #rockstar @hardikpandya7 but let's not forget Bumrah's 19th over! See u at @mipaltan fielding practice soon Bumrah's

Rhodes also threw light on his contribution in the 19th over and praised him for his efforts. Bumrah is definitely going to put some hard yards on the field as he gets to the Mumbai Indians dug out after the World T20 is over.
