Dharam Singh Deol, known to the world as Dharmendra, is one of the most popular film actors that Indian cinema has seen. The man behind several super-hits, Dharmendra turned 80 on Tuesday. Dharmendra and his second wife Hema Malini, fondly called the industry’s ‘Dream Girl’ have ruled the silver screen for many rules. In fact, the entire Deol family has contributed a lot to the film industry. His sons Sunny and Bobby, daughter Esha and nephew Abhay are popular actors.
Dharmendra also called ‘Dharam paaji’ hails from Punjab and is immensely popular in the state. Cricket and Bollywood share an inseparable relation in India and cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who hails from Punjab, also is an avid fan of the iconic actor.
