Twitterati hail KL Rahul on becoming first Indian to score a ton on ODI debut

KL Rahul stuck to his guns and came out in flying colours as he smashed an unbeaten ton in One-Day International debut and became the first cricketer to have done so. While chasing a modest target of 169 in 50 overs, Rahul got the ball rolling from the outset at Harare. His 115-balls century contained seven elegant boundaries and a maximum. He made it to the Indian side on the basis of some terrific performances in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) as he did a commendable job for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
