Dwayne Bravo‘s Champion Dance took the cricket world by storm. But on Sunday, the Trinidadian received a dose of his own medicine when Axar Patel dismissed him for a blob.

Looks like with the appointment of Murali Vijay as the new captain for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) has brought fortune to their side. Especially their main spinner Axar, who hasn’t been very impressive prior to the match 28 between Gujarat Lions (GL) and KXIP, bowled brilliantly. He bowled excellently throughout this match and ripped apart Suresh Raina-led GL’s batting line up. Read: Yuvraj Singh, Axar Patel, Kings XI Punjab, May 1 and hat-tricks!

He started by taking the wicket of opener Dwayne Smith in his second over, which was also the seventh over of the match and in the same over, he took more wickets and both came in two back to back deliveries of his last two balls. In that one over, he took three wickets, which included players like Smith, Dinesh Karthik and then Dwayne Bravo. The most special thing about that over was his celebration after taking Bravo’s wicket as he performed the famous ‘Champion’ dance which has been a trending since ICC World T20 (WT20) 2016 began.

Further, Axar took one more wicket in the first of his next over and became the second player for KXIP to take a hat-trick in IPL after Yuvraj Singh and his spell helped his team in winning their second game of the tournament by 23 runs.
