Bangladesh are weaker in the shortest form of the game compared with the other two versions. So far, Bangladesh have won only three of their 18 matches in the World T20 and two of the wins came against Afghanistan and Nepal, reports bdnews24.com.

Having played fewer T20 Internationals have not helped their cause either while there is no domestic tournament at present. It leaves Bangladesh with having to take special preparations before every T20 global event.
Hathurusingha said he wanted to shape up the team for the event in India in the home series against South Africa. Bangladesh await their biggest test at home against South Africa
“We will keep the World Cup in mind to a great deal in this series. We are now thinking about team coordination and planning. We are trying to find which [tactics] will be effective for us. In the South Africa series, we will keep eyes on these matters,” he said.
