Indian delicious dish Butter chicken and pizza which the South African A cricketers enjoyed on the Saturday night might be the reason behind the food poisoning they suffered two days later. Their fixture against Australia A which was initially scheduled for Monday will now reportedly happen on Wednesday. The 10 cricketers were discharged from a local hospital on Monday and are fit to play against the Australian A side in the ongoing Tri-Series at Chepauk stadium. The Proteas wicket-keeper Quintin de Kock, who was on field less than 24 hours after arriving in India, was one of the cricketers who fell sick. Many players felt uneasy on Sunday morning and soon it reached a stage where they had to request India A coach Rahul Dravid to allow Mandeep Singh to field as they were short of fit men. It was even more amusing when South Africa A’s video analyst Hendrikus Coertzen came in to field in place of left-arm seamer Mthokozisi Shezi, who fell ill.
