David Miller kept the runs flowing  for Kings XI Punjab against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their match in IPL 2014. Albie Morkel, who was bowling very well, continued for his final over. After Saha could get just three runs off the first four balls, David Miller came on strike. He was unable to spoil Morkel’s figures, getting only another single off the fifth ball. Morkel ended with excellent figures of 4-0-20-1.

Chahal came in for his final over, the 14th of the innings, and kept things typically tight for the over. He mixed his pace and line well to go for only five off the over.

Mitchell Starc came in to bowl the 13th over, and continued to bowl quick. Miller managed to hit a short and wide ball for another boundary off the fourth delivery off the over, before launching the fifth ball for another boundary over long odd, and slicing the final ball through point to make it three boundaries in three balls.

Earlier, David Miller was batting well for Kings XI Punjab against Royal Challengers Bangalore in their match in IPL 2014. Albie Morkel came in to bowl the 12th over, and struck to get rid of a scratchy-looking George Bailey for one run off seven deliveries. It was the first economical over for RCB in a long time. Only one run came off it.

The 11th over was bowled by Chahal and he beat Bailey off the first ball comprehensively. He continued to keep things tight, going for just one of the first three balls, till Miller smashed the fourth ball for a huge 93-metre six. The last couple of balls passed without incident.  Catch Live Scorecard and ball by ball commentary of the Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kings XI Punjab IPL 2014 match here

Varun Aaron came in to bowl the 10th over, and was immediately struck for a couple of boundaries by David Miller to bring up the 100 for KXIP. He nearly hit another off the penultimate delivery of the over, but it was well fielded by Yuvraj Singh in the deep. Aaron kept bowling it wide, however, and went for the third boundary off the over off the final ball. Catch Live Blog of the IPL 2014 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab

Punjab made a good start to their innings. It was Virender Sehwag, swashbuckling opener who started the boundary count with a flick shot. He was at his best when he smashed Albie Morkel for a boundary. It was a trademark square cut from Sehwag. He also thwacked Harshal Patel over Mid off for a boundary. His young partner, Mandeep Singh wasn’t to be left behind, as he too played a fine shot or two off Mitchell Starc, the left-arm swing bowler from Australia.
