India are all set to take on England in the first T20I at Old Trafford, Manchester. This is expected to be a tough match as both teams are having a good run in limited-overs formats. The interesting fact about the T20I series is the pair of brothers who played the shortest format of the game. There have been 11 sets of brothers who have played T20I cricket. If Sam Curran plays he and his brother Tom will form the 12th, as will Krunal and Hardik Pandya if Krunal plays. Tom and Hardik have already played T20Is, and are also in the respective current squads. Here is a list of brothers and half-brothers who have played T20Is:

Dawid Malan has been roped in as a cover for him. Krunal, on the other hand, was originally not the part of the squad. He got a chance as Washington Sundar was ruled out due to injury. However, he might not get a place in the XI with the presence of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.
