Glenn Maxwell, who powered Australia to a historic Twenty20 international series win in India, and Hazratullah Zazai, whose unbeaten 162-run knock in the second Afghanistan versus Ireland T20I, shattered many T20I records have made big gains in the latest ICC T20I Player Rankings. Maxwell, with 169 runs against his name, was the leading run-getter in the two-match T20I series against India as the Aaron Finch-led side beat Virat Kohli-led unit 2-0. Zazai, meanwhile, has jumped 31 places to make it into the top 10, securing the seventh spot in the rankings. Maxwell has moved up two places to secure the third spot in the rankings. MS Dhoni, Kohli too moved up in the rankings with Kohli moving up two places and Dhoni moving up seven places. Mohammad Nabi gained 12 spots.
In the bowlers’ rankings, Jasprit Bumrah jumped 12 spots to the seal the 15th place in the rankings.
