MS Dhoni‘s India will clash against Eoin Morgan-led England in the third One-Day International (ODI) at Brisbane. It will be an important game for both the teams in the context of the series as both teams are yet to register a point in the points table. Both India and England lost their matches against Australia and to keep the team’s chances for final alive, they need to win this game Catch Live Blog of India vs England 3rd ODI here
For England, James Anderson is likely to return in the playing eleven after missing out the opening game due to injury. He may replace Steven Finn, which means that Chris Woakes will retain his place as he picked up four wickets against Australia. India on the other hand have their own injury issues. Though the weather forecast for this game is not very good. The Weather Channel predicts thunderstorms in Brisbane and about 80 percent chances of rainfall. I would be a disappointing thing if this game is washed out. The tri-series is a short affair this time around with only a couple of rounds before a solitary final. With that format in place, almost every game becomes important. Finishing winless after the first round can put a team in a difficult spot.
Teams:
India: MS Dhoni (c&wk), Shikhar Dhawan, Ambati Rayudu, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny, Suresh Raina, Akshar Patel, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav.
England: Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, Ian Bell, Joe Root, James Taylor, Jos Buttler (wk), Ravi Bopara, Chris Woakes, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Steven Finn.
