India vs Sri Lanka ICC World T20 2014 final: Ajinkya Rahane bowled by Angelo Mathews

India are at five for one after two overs against Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup final.

India are at five for one after two overs against Sri Lanka in the ICC World T20 2014 final at Dhaka on April 6. Rohit Sharma is batting on one and Virat Kohli is on one. Ajinkya Rahane was the first batsman dismissed for three. This is India’s second T20 World Cup final. Sri Lanka are playing in their third T20 World Cup final.

 

Rohit and Rahane opened the batting for India. Nuwan Kulasekara began proceedings for Sri Lanka. Rohit flicked the first ball towards deep square-leg for a single. Rahane top-edged one towards point for two runs and got of the mark. Angelo Mathews shared the new ball and bowled Rahane.

 

Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Lasith Malinga won the toss and elected to bowl. There was one change for Sri Lanka from the team that beat West Indies in the semi-final. Thisara Perera came in for Seekkuge Prasanna. India went in with an unchanged XI that beat South Africa in their semi-final.
