Corey Anderson shone like a bright star with his unbelievable innings of 95 off 44 balls as the Mumbai Indians smashed their way into the playoffs of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014. Anderson came into this tournament with the reputation of being the man who scored the fastest One-Day International (ODI) century of a mere 36 balls. But, he saved his best for the most crucial time and has become the toast of the town. Aditya Tare also made a mark with a six to seal the spot.
Many cricketers and celebrities took to twitter to praise Anderson’s effort. Anderson’s kiwi teammate Ross Taylor tweeted, “Amazing batting by @coreyanderson78. Wrighty going to be happy now :). Good luck in the Semis.”
