Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) take on Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 at Bangalore. RCB are in a do or die situation, and must win each of their next matches if they are to have any chance of qualifying for the final four.
Delhi have had a forgettable tournament so far, having won just two games. They will be hoping to spoil the party for other sides and pull off a few face-saving victories. With an under-performing side, the onus has been on skipper Kevin Pietersen, but he has yet to show his class in IPL 7. Catch the Live Blog of the match here.

Bangalore have managed to lose games from positions of strength, and they will be praying for some more resolve in the coming matches. With a superb all-round performance from Yuvraj Singh in the last game, RCB looked set to pull off a huge victory till they were foiled by James Faulkner and Steve Smith for Rajasthan Royals. They will hope Yuvraj can keep performing in that fashion. Virat Kohli promoted himself to open but the experiment failed miserably. He might stay at the top for another match, however, and try to turn things around. Click here for the Live Scorecard of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Rajasthan Royals (RR) IPL 2014 match
Delhi will be hoping for some runs from their captain as well. Quinton de Kock has been in reasonable form and will be keen to score some runs against an attack that was flayed by the Rajasthan batsmen. Ross Taylor has been out for a few games now, and DD might be tempted to give him another run.
