The start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 game No 38 between Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Bangalore has been delayed due to rain. Covers were taken off after an initial light drizzle. Unfortunately, there was another outbreak of rain that has delayed the toss. Both teams have struggled for consistency and form. Delhi are placed last at present with just two wins to their credit. On the other end, Bangalore have won three of their games. Delhi have struggled with both bat and ball. Kevin Pietersen had showed a bit of form in the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad with a quickfire knock while opening the innings. He might well persist at the top of the order for Delhi. Bangalore looked set to beat Rajasthan Royals in their last game, but James Faulkner and Steven Smith took the game away from them with some power hitting. Yuvraj Singh’s form will be a huge plus for RCB, and they will be hoping for an encore performance from him.
