The eight edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is up and running with high scoring contest between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Eden Gardens Kolkata. After experiencing the recently concluded high scoring ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, it is expected that the trend of lots of fours and sixes will continue in this 2015 edition of IPL as well. IPL is being played in the short boundaries at most Indian grounds. Generally 65 yards boundaries are being used in this twenty twenty tournament. Some of the venues like Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore have even smaller boundaries. So hitting fours and sixes is quite easy for the quality players, who are playing the IPL. Meanwhile in IPL 2015 eight teams will be once again vying for the IPL 2015 trophy as the battles begin with the teams going through a lot of changes.
