Punjab have been the best team so far in the IPL and are looking like strong contenders to challenge for the IPL. Their batting has been their strength and with the likes of Glenn Maxwell, David Miller and George Bailey in their squad they always pose threat to the opposition. Mitchell Johnson is leading the bowling for the team and with the company of Sandeep Sharma they have done well.
Kolkata’s batting has been inconsistent and have performed in bits and pieces. Their bowling is strong but does not have the backing of the batting to defend totals. Mystery spinner Sunil Narine is key for them and will be their strike bowler. Vinay Kumar has done a good job and will be looking to continue his good run.
