Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy, a Kolkata Club, on Sunday defeated Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy of Adelaide by 10 wickets in a One-Day game. The game was a typical one-sided encounter, as Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy, who batted first were bowled out for 133 in 34 overs, while Mainland chased the total down comfortably in 21.1 Overs, without losing a single wicket, and thus registering an emphatic win over the Australian team, that was indeed an embarrassing loss for the Academy. The winning team is coached by Sambaran Banerjee, who led Bengal to their second Ranji Trophy title, in 1989-90. The club is a joint venture between the famous Speciality Restaurants chain of India (who own leading restaurants like Mainland China, Asia Kitchen, Cafe Mezunna, Sigree, Oh! Calcutta, Hoppipola, Haka, Machaan and Sweet Bengal), run by famous restaurateur Anjan Chatterjee. Bengal all-rounder Writtick Chatterjee picks 6 wickets without conceding a run during a CAB match

The star of the match was Diganta Niogi, who first took 4 for 22 to help skittle out Darren Lehmann Cricket Academy for a paltry score. Then, opening batting with Kazi Zunaid Safi, he helped Mainland Sambaran Cricket Academy to chase down the target without the loss of a wicket, scoring at a whopping 6.33 an over.
