Zimbabwe face-off against UAE in a Group B clash in the ICC World T20 2014 at Sylhet on March 21, 2014. Zimbabwe need to win the match to have any chance of progressing to the Super 10s. UAE are out of contention, but a victory could boost their morale and confidence. Even if Zimbabwe win, a victory for Ireland later on would see them go through to the next round of the T20 World Cup.
Brendan Taylor captains Zimbabwe. The Africans lost their first match against Ireland on the last ball. They then beat the Netherlands also on the last ball. UAE were trounced in both their matches against the Netherlands and then Ireland. They are led by Khurram Khan.
