Mumbai Indians (MI) take on Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in match 22 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 in Mumbai. Mumbai are yet to open their account and have lost their games in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). On the other hand Punjab have won all their games and are unbeaten in the tournament so far. Mumbai’s will be hoping that the return of the tournament in India will change their fortunes, as they have not been able to win a single match yet. Their batting looks weak and haven’t been able to produce the runs at the top of the order. Keiron Pollard has found some form after his knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) brought them close but couldn’t help them cross the line.
Punjab on the other hand are having the best IPL so far. They have won all their games and will be looking forward to carry their winning momentum. Glenn Maxwell the former Mumbai man will be looking fire against his old club and has been in sublime form this year scoring 300 runs in five matches.
