MS Dhoni wins 100th match as captain in ODIs during India-Bangladesh match in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

MS Dhoni will now lead India in the semi-final either against Australia or Pakistan.

India captain MS Dhoni completes 100 One-Day Internationals (ODI) wins as captain during ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, quarter-final 2 match against Bangladesh in Melbourne. Dhoni achieved this feat after his side beat Bangladesh by 109 runs. Dhoni has also now led India to victory in seven matches in a row and have now bowled the opposition out for the seventh time in a row. Rohit Sharma scored a magnificent century to lead India to a memorable win, which puts them into the semi-final of the tournament. Dhoni is now third in the list behind Ricky Ponting and Allan Border as the most successful captain in the shorter format. Dhoni also took four catches in the match today and led his team admirably. India will now play either Pakistan or Australia in semi-final match depending on the outcome of tomorrow’s match.
