Mumbai Indians lost the early wicket of CM Gautam in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 contest against the Kolkata Knight Riders. In 2.2 overs, Mumbai are 12 for one. The first over was bowled by Morne Morkel. there were three extras in the over and as a result, none of the batsmen opened their account even as the team started off its scoring. Umesh Yadav came on to bowl the second over. Gautam then walked across the stumps and guided it fine off his pads for a four. Gautam then got a triple through mid-wicket. Earlier, Kolkata won the toss and chose to bowl at Cuttack. Kolkata made one change as Shakib Al Hasan came in to replace Jacques Kallis. This may have something to do with the nature of the pitch. Mumbai Indians are unchanged in this game.
