Pakistan bowlers made an impressive comeback as they shattered four important wickets against Bangladesh, in the all-important first of the two-match Test series at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Wednesday. Bangladesh batsmen, Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan started the day with the score on 236 for the loss of four as they finished on Day 1. However, it was just the fourth over of the day, when Shakib was dismissed after he was cheekily caught by Asad Shafiq at the first slip off Zulfiqar Babar. However, it was the all-new pair of Rahim and debutante, Soumya Sarkar, who put up an impressive 62-run stand for the sixth wicket, before Soumya was dismissed for 33 by Mohammad Hafeez, and soon to follow him was Rahim for 32 off leg-spinner, Yasir Shah. Following their dismissal, none of the other pairs were as impressive as the top order and the last three wickets of the session felll in a hurry in the form of Soumya, Rahim and Taijul as they were down to their final three pair before the lunch break kicked in.
