Quinton de Kock is leading Delhi Daredevils’ charge in their tough chase of 185, set by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 12rh match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2014 at Dubia. Daredevils were 72 for none after nine overs, requiring another 113 runs to win from 11 overs with all 10 wickets in hand.

De Kock is batting on 43 off 25 balls, studded with six fours and a six. On the other hand, Murali Vijay is on 26 not out.

Delhi Daredevils started off well in their run-chase of 185. The Hyderabad team started their bowling with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Dale Steyn. In the third over, Murali Vijay got into his zone with a six over long off. In three overs, Delhi are 20 for no loss.

Delhi have a new opening pair as Quinton de Kock has come into the side and he has walked out to bat with Vijay. Later on, they will have Kevin Pietersen who is playing his first game in the IPL 2014. Delhi certainly needed him to come back.

Earlier, Hyderabad smashed 184 in their 20 overs. Aaron Finch’s 88 not out and David Warner’s innings of 58 helped them power to that score as the Australian duo attacked the bowlers mercilessly in the slog overs. They were powered by a good start by Shikhar Dhawan, who hit 33.
