Earlier, resuming their second innings at 157/3, Rohit Motwani’s fine century was overshadowed by impressive bowling from Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, who decimated the Maharashtra batting order. After Hardik Rathod claimed the wicket of the hosts’ captain Ankit Bawne for 25, Jadeja took stock of the situation and ran through the Maharashtra batting line-up.

Ashay Palkar departed first after edging it behind to Snell Patel, followed by Bachhav, who was trapped lbw for a duck, and then had Anupam Sanklecha to complete the rout.
